CORE achieves Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Certification through Smartwood, the FSC-accredited program of the Rainforest Alliance.

Corvallis, Oregon, November 22, 2005 -- CORE receives Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Certification through SmartWood, the FSC-Accredited Program of the Rainforest Alliance. As a result of the strict standards of the FSC, now CORE Communications has the ability to provide FSC Certified paper products through their Cascade Printing Division.

FSC Certification provides a verifiable method to ensure customers that they have purchased paper that contains well-managed forests and/or 100% post consumer recycled material. CORE Communications completes the FSC "Chain Of Custody" that is required to track and label FSC Certified paper products. With FSC Certification, environmentally conscious businesses, publishers, designers and advertising agencies can address their increasing sustainability challenges and demand. CORE Communications is the only FSC Certified printer in Oregon.
